NoteZilla Help

Interesting Facts

You can configure when to slide the note toolbar

For quick access to note's functionality, NoteZilla shows the note's toolbar (the window that slides just above the sticky note) when ever you move the mouse pointer over the note. If this becomes little annoying, you can configure NoteZilla to show the toolbar only on mouse click. To do so, just choose Advanced->Preferences menu in the Notes Browser.

Don't want the title to appear automatically?

When you type something inside the sticky note, the title appears automatically. In such cases you just have to press F2 to edit the title.

However, if you do not want the title to appear automatically, you can change it using Advanced->Preferences menu in the Notes Browser. Choose the Note tab in the Preferences window to access this setting.

Hotkeys are configurable

Hotkeys such as Ctrl+Shift+F (Find Notes), Ctrl+Shift+T (Bring Notes To Top) etc are configurable. You can change them using Advanced->Preferences menu in the Notes Browser.

'Show Desktop' icon will not show the desktop notes

The Windows 'Show Desktop' icon that appears in the taskbar is designed to access the desktop shortcuts without the need for minimizing each window.

This 'Show Desktop' icon cannot be used to access NoteZilla's sticky notes. In order to access NoteZilla's sticky notes just press Ctrl+Shift+T hotkey (Bring Notes To Top). This hotkey is configurable.
